About

Ms. Manalili,

From humble beginnings to a thriving role in international financial management.

My journey as an accountant started with a deep desire to provide a stable future for myself and my family. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Information Systems from Don Honorio Ventura State University, I began my career in local companies in the Philippines.

But like many professionals in the country, I quickly realized that the opportunities were limited, and compensation didn’t match the hard work and long hours we put in. It was a challenge, not only financially but also emotionally, to stay motivated when my efforts were undervalued.

Balancing Business and Education

While studying at university, I also pursued my passion for baking by starting a side business, Bakes by A&A, where I created custom cakes and baked goods. Balancing both my studies and running a small business helped me develop discipline and resilience. Although I now bake only as a hobby, this creative outlet has always brought a sense of fulfillment to my life.

Specializing in Insurance Accounting Internationally

Despite the limitations I encountered early in my career, I knew I had more to offer. I pursued my goal of working with international companies that will value my skills and could provide the growth and stability I was striving for. This led me to acquire necessary certifications like QuickBooks Online Certified and National Certificate III in Bookkeeping, which opened the door to working with U.S. insurance agencies.

Today, I specialize in managing insurance accounting and financial reporting for U.S. clients, using tools like Applied Epic to handle commission reports, reconciliations, and Gusto for payroll. My focus is on delivering reliable, organized, and accurate financial management that helps businesses run smoothly and meet their goals. Working with international companies that value my contributions has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful for the work-life balance I’ve achieved.

Reflecting on the Journey

Looking back, the challenges I faced early in my career drove me to aim higher, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Whether I’m managing the financials of an insurance agency or baking a cake, I approach everything with dedication, care, and passion.
